just noticed the call on my phone,, tried calling it back,, but it just says about trying to connect you and then starts ringing,, very strange and surely someone must be able to find out who its from,, i also just put the area code in to find out it was aberdeen,,

Sick of these calls- I have call preference , but these calls get through I am recent;ly bereaved and I have had enough of these pestering phone calls. They seem to think they have a right to talk to you whatever time of day.I am heartily sick of them. Call protection from overseas costs and I cannot afford it!! Is this how they are are getting through the call preference barrier?

when you call this number back it states the number is no longer in service and disconnected, using a disconnected line is a method used by government law enforcement often to tap someone and monitor or listen in to ones phone calls..very disturbing how many people are recieving these calls from this number. i dont believe this call people are recieving from 586-992-8668 to be a phishing scam nor do i believe this guy in the post above about the spanish speaking and prize claiming. big brother is watching people so watch what you say and who you call and what kind of activities you conduct. this is becoming a fascist communist country, pretty soon will all have chips in us.

Got a call @ 10:23 a.m. 7-30-2010 from this number. It seems like once every couple of months or so I get one. I have never bought anything that would have a Spanish collections group after me, so just figured it was SPAM. If it were a person I speak enough Spanish to request they stop calling me, but it's always a recording that asks you to push numbers and I'm sure not going to do that.

Hi again.
Is there a common thread to everyone receiving these calls? A few of my circumstances are :
1) Redundant and my JSA is about to run out,
2) Received a call from DWP yesterday about accounting for a claim,
3) Receiving some counselling from Relate
Other things are quite ok except for these circumstances but does anyone else have these in common as a reason for getting a call from this number?

Just had a call to my mobile (Virgin provider). Answered, tentatively, as i don't often when i don't have a name to the caller, and there was nothing....no speech, no hang up, no background noise. Have added that number to my contacts, named "DON'T ANSWER THIS CALL!"
Find something better to do, whoever you are!
